Raising the Bar: CHAGEE’s August Food Safety & Product Quality Report
August has been a month of growth, refinement, and dedication at CHAGEE. As our footprint in the APAC region continues to expand, so does our responsibility to uphold the highest standards in food safety, product quality, and customer experience. This month, we not only strengthened our audit practices across multiple markets but also continued to equip our partners with the skills and knowledge needed to deliver consistency and excellence in every cup. In addition, we have begun preparations to bring the CHAGEE experience to exciting new markets, including Vietnam and the Philippines, ensuring that our robust food safety and quality standards are firmly in place ahead of each launch.
This month’s report highlights our latest initiatives, audit updates, and operational improvements, as we remain steadfast in delivering perfection in every cup.
1. Food Safety & Product Quality Training
Training is the foundation of consistent quality across our expanding network of outlets. In August, we continued to equip our team members with essential knowledge through:
- In-house training sessions focusing on food safety protocols, proper ingredient handling, and quality control measures.
- Customer service workshops designed to enhance the CHAGEE experience through attentive and professional interactions.
- Government-accredited courses to strengthen compliance with local regulatory requirements.
In July, over 100 partners across our APAC markets successfully completed comprehensive training programmes, ensuring our customers enjoy a safe, high-quality, and consistent tea experience on every visit.
2. Audit Measures
In July 2025, the CHAGEE APAC audit team continued to monitor performance across our outlets through monthly audit inspections:
Outlets also received tailored coaching sessions to reinforce food safety principles and raise awareness of the detail-oriented practices that drive both customer satisfaction and product quality.
3. In-store Audit Findings
Improvements made in stores following the audits:
Issue: Missing internal shelf life label for opened food ingredients
Measures Taken: The audit finding was shared with the partner on the spot, and immediate rectification was carried out by ensuring the shelf life label was promptly replaced.

4. Food Safety & Product Quality Measures
1) At CHAGEE, we use colour-coded towels for different cleaning purposes, and all towels are soaked in a sanitising bucket to ensure there are always sufficient clean towels available during operational hours. The sanitiser concentration needs to be maintained in the required range, and the sanitising solution in the soaking container has a shelf life of four hours to ensure optimum disinfecting effectiveness.
2) A weekly deep-cleaning routine has been established for washing our ice maker machine. During this process, we carry out a thorough cleaning and sanitisation of the machine’s interior components to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
