December marks a meaningful close to another year of growth, learning, and progress for CHAGEE. As the festive season brings higher customer traffic and increased operational demands, our focus on food safety and product consistency becomes more important than ever.

This month, we also celebrated a key milestone with the opening of CHAGEE’s first pet-friendly outlet at Eastwood City, Philippines. This new addition reflects our commitment to creating inclusive spaces where customers and their pets can enjoy high-quality tea experiences together — all while upholding strict hygiene and operational standards to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

As we approach the year's end, we continue strengthening outlet readiness, refining operational processes, and empowering teams across the region to uphold the highest standards of safety, freshness, and quality in every cup.

  1. Food Safety & Product Quality Training

In this month, we strengthened outlet readiness through focused, small-class training sessions (5–7 pax per class), allowing personalised, point-to-point coaching. These sessions centred on our Red Lines and Zero-Tolerance standards, covering three key areas: Food Safety, Product Quality, and Customer Service.

Partners also received hands-on coaching on cleaning SOPs and proper cleaning methods, including step-by-step procedures for essential equipment such as the Ice Maker Machine and Automated Machine. This practical approach helps ensure our outlets maintain high standards of hygiene, consistency, and operational excellence every day.

To date, more than 100 partners across the region have completed these updated sessions, reaffirming our shared goal of ensuring that every cup meets CHAGEE’s promise of quality and safety.

2. Audit Measures

In November 2025, the CHAGEE APAC audit team continued to monitor performance across our outlets through monthly audit inspections:

Through the implementation of our holistic audit and coaching approach, we stand alongside our outlets to progressively enhance food safety, product quality, and customer service, ensuring that every customer enjoys perfection in every cup of CHAGEE tea we craft.

3. In-store Audit Findings

Improvements made in stores following the audits:

Issue 1: Stains and tea dust accumulate inside the trash bin compartmentMeasures Taken: The audit finding was shared with the partner on the spot, and immediate rectification was carried out by thoroughly cleaning the affected area. Partners were reminded to conduct regular checks and cleaning of the interior surfaces of trash bin compartments to maintain proper hygiene and prevent buildup.

Issue 2: Ice scoop storage container not fully closed after useMeasures Taken: The issue was highlighted to the partner on the spot, and immediate corrective action was taken by securely closing the container lid. Partners were reminded that the ice scoop container must be kept closed after each use to prevent the risk of foreign object contamination and ensure the cleanliness of all ice-handling tools.


4. Food Safety & Product Quality Measures

1)Monthly Pest Control Service at All Outlets

To maintain a safe and hygienic environment, all CHAGEE outlets undergo a scheduled monthly pest control service conducted by certified professionals. This proactive approach helps prevent pest activity, protects food ingredients from contamination, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. 2)Proper Storage and Maintenance of Cleaning Tools

Cleaning tools are stored in designated areas to ensure they remain hygienic, functional, and ready for use. Each tool is inspected to ensure it is free from residue, moisture, and damage before being placed back in storage. A tidy and well-organised storage area not only prevents cross-contamination but also promotes efficient workflow during operations. This practice supports consistent cleanliness throughout the outlet and upholds CHAGEE’s strict standards in food safety and product quality.

CHAGEE honours the art of tea by using real tea leaves and authentic brewing methods, reimagined through a modern lens. In December, we introduced a new addition to our menu — Cocoa Oolong Milk Tea, a refined blend that bridges tradition and innovation.

Crafted with premium oolong tea as its base, this signature milk tea delivers a delicate floral aroma complemented by a subtle cocoa bitterness that adds depth without overpowering the tea. The result is a well-balanced, smooth beverage that highlights the natural elegance of oolong while offering a contemporary chocolate-inspired twist.
